Annual Dinner, 2008

We had ourAnnual Dinner Cum Farewell Dinner for our beloved CEO last Saturday . Everybody was excited bout the whole event as each department had to perform for the night. The theme for the dinner was Retro 70s. Our performance entitled 70s Bollywood was participated by 40 staff of Credit Management Department headed by non other than Abossa..I wish that Encik Farid continue his contract with MBSB..He has done a lot for the company and him leaving would be a loss to MBSB... I am gonna miss him a lot..... Me before Fairus make up kan.....different sesangat till i tak kenal myself.......

We did not win the best performance but we know that deep inside we won something much more valuable than the prize money- friendship and teamwork. After days of practicing together, the team members have developed a better sense of understanding with each other and the meaning of the word commitment....each one of us are committed to make the show a success. We watched the video taken by our instructor -Akmal & Fairus and it showed that our hard effort was not in vain. I am not denying that I am dissapointed with the result but I know that we have in the truest sense of it won the competition....CONGRATULATIONS TO CREDIT MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT........

4.24 a.m......turn to my right and saw Afrina nicely tucked under the comforter.....so cute and adorable even when she is asleep......wish i could be like that...to be able to doze off without a single care in the world and to know that when i wake up mama is going to be there to prepare breakfast and Hannah Montana would be showing on Astro.......sigh.......i wish.....just can't sleep anymore.......thought about what happened yesterday......and very excited about today's dinner...

Yesterday........what a day...thought it would be another ordinary day with nothing but the rehersal to worry about...had a lovely chat with Nana and Buttercup who was on their way to buy the necessity for their Family Day..had to put down the phone because Nana kena angkat periuk........

Everybody in the office was all so excited about the annual dinner and our performance...Credit Management...i mean our Big Department headed by my abossa's performance is entitled "Bollywood in the 70s"...we practiced hard and tommorow we are ready to show the world what we are made of....stiff shoulders and badan sekeras buluh..he he he...

Was summoned down to see abossa and he looked so serious when i came in to his office....thought it was for the normal reason i.e...that he is worried about the current office scenario......but i thought wrong.................

Am not gonna dwell much about the "horrid" detail of the cause of Abossa's displeasure which leads to a rainy conversation with Dilla which leads to swollen eyes, which leads to the throwing of the office phone into the rubbish bin and the murdering of the culprit..just joking bout this...even though i did imagine a couple of ways to dispose of him permanently........[please do not think for even a second that the culprit is Abossa....dont u dare........it is someone else.......i don't even want to say his name here and smear my blog dengan menulis nama dia disini.....he is not worth it].....

After the rainy conversation with Dilla [thanks k Dilla] and looking like Rudolp the Red Nose Raindeer i headed for Tugu View for lunch with some of the girls involved in our performance..[ada full rehersal in Crown Princess- this is where our annual dinner is gonna be held]...am still feelin kinda sad, ery angry and demotivated with what has happened but spoiling the rest of the day because of it would be like commiting a sin.......why give that creature the pleasure of ruining my day....of ruining my life.....i may not be able to direct the wind but i sure can adjust the sails.........I AM GOING TO BE HAPPY despite what has happened...No more crying...its going to be all smiles.......i may not be able to change the world i see around me but i sure can change the way i see the world within me.......SMILE...

The lunch with the girls - Zura, Yus, Wanie and Min was like a get to know session....selamat berkenal kenalan...Tina joined us too for lunch.....had fun talking about her group's performance- Saturday Night Fever........they had only 10 minutes of practice...

We then headed to the hotel and the rehersal turn out ok...we are the first group to performed and we had so much of fun...everybody co-operated.....so so hapi.....[ we are first because semua group lain macam tak nak naik and mula]

Saw an sms from Abossa when i came down from the stage-"don't wori..not angry with u...why should i be.....be hapi k"...rasa amat lega.....some people out there must sure be confused with the closeness me share with Abossa....other than being my Abossa he is my very dear friend.......

The performance wsa superb, Abossa not angry...things keeps getting better.....am not gonna let that creature ruin my day......am not and will not let that happen

The best news was from Linda.......my dinner baju designed by her dah siap and that she has put the pic in her blog........lamanye esok........balik Bangi nanti akan kubuka and tengok baju ku Linda...tapi tengok je tak best...i nak pakai......nnnnaaaaaakkkkkk......had a good dinner and then shoot off to Bangi.......tak sabar nak tengok...................

Saw the baju...ssoooooooooo cantik...cantik sangat Linda...kita suka sesangat..........semua yang kat rumah puji baju rekaan Linda ini.........nanti kita ambil banyak banyak gambar...Linda made the baju with luv and i know that i will look cantik in it..perasan lagi lah kan?he he he

I teringat entry Dilla on Rainbow and can't help to agree that it is after the rain that the rainbow appears and what a beautiful sight it is.......that is life......we have hiccups but we move on and things gets better.....

I thank ALLAH..I have been blessed....Alhamdulillah......i have a good loving family and many close friends that is always there for me and luv me...I luv u all...

Happi Days

I had fun last few days.....Sunday...Monday.....Wednesday....to be among friends and families alwiz made me happy......banyak yang terjadi di ofis yang buat me not so happy....sad and made me cry tapi it was erased by the events that took place on the aforesaid days......i am blessed with many people who love me......yes me......eventhough i know for a fact that i am not the nicest and easiest person to be with.........the pictures below shows what a blast weekend i had.......

Wish that everyday would be like the 2 days that i had with Ijan, Dilla, Linda , Nana...full of fun and laughter. All the confusion and sadness of the events that happened the past weeks seems to be history....don't care what others think and their misconceptions so long as i have wonderful friends and family that luv and care.....

Linda oh Linda

Last Saturday I came back to Melaka untuk Hari Raya Haji....jalan mata lah jam dari highway hinggalah ke Tol....i took the AMJ Highway to town....jauh lah sikit tapi at least tak jam.....Linda tunggu di Butik Kaseh...(i was introduced to Linda by Dilla....i thank Allah for both this peoples friendship....Nana tooooo k)...kesian dia selalu kena buka the Butik on Saturday for me....I really appreciate it......the baju in the picture ialah baju kurung pahang dari kain Japanese Cotton yang i bought from Arab Street, Singapore from my short vacation there.......sweet kan......the baju siap dengan lining hingga ke tangan and very the syari'ah compliance.......but I am so happy with the result...the baju fits nicely and so sweet......nanti nak hantar untuk beadwork hasil tangan Linda.....To Linda...I could not thank you enough for what you have done...the beadworks for my sister and me are just simply awesome.......i could not find words to express my appreciation....thank you my dear friend......baju kurung pahang ni i pakai today ke ofis........baju jadi perbualan hangat....seperti biasa the baju je and bukan si Pemakainye.....nasib badan.......sob sob sobthe picture was taken by Linda masa i testing baju kat Butik.....ianye sesangat cantik because Linda did it with love...........thanks again......Luv u Linda...

"syari'ah compliance?"

Raya Haji -8-12-2008

Hari Raya Haji tahun ini falls on 8-12-2008....amat berlainan dari hari -hari raya yang sebelum ini....maybe because tahun ini i tak keseorangan and "dikurniakan" ramai dayang dayang yang bersedia untuk didera......semuanya datang menyerah diri.........my prayers have been answered...Afrina and Dini sedang mengadap mak yang sibuk mengisi ketupat..tukang kacau sebenarnye...kecik kecik semua nak tolong tapi bila dah besar nanti jerit sampai keluar tekak untuk tolong haram nak datang dekat dapur............kita anyam 70 out of the 110 ketupat...lenguh belakang kita nak siapkan ketupat tu.....

Pembantu No. 1....... Nana sedang cincang daging nak buat bergedil...rajin betul anak dara kakak ni......bertuah si Mok.....he he he........amat berpuas hati dengan pembantu ku ini........

Overall this Raya have been OK......what is missing is my Pumpkin....mak nangis because fikirkan cucu dia kat sana raya sorang sorang.........we pray for your success and happiness Pumpkin and we luv u...take care.......

P/S Nanti Chief pembantu dari UK pulang we would have a western kind of raya...no ketpat ketupat and here comes steak and fries........he he he
